Hi guys,
So I was thinking we could focus our presentation for Friday on one of the questions that Dr. Mayer ended the class with. The topics included:
1. Oncogene Addiction
2. Definition of an oncogene in the context of human cancer
3. Acquired Resistance
4. Best therapy for individual’s tumor
My vote is for oncogene addiction. And if we want to make the presentation more cohesive I was thinking we could focus on two examples, with one person explaining the mechanism, and another touching on therapy. Then the two remaining people could be the intro (why its an issue) and the conclusions (impact). It’s just an idea, but I think we need to decide early in the week (by the end of the day tomorrow)?
